Ajay Devgn and Akshaye Khanna were paired in a film called Deewangee in 2002, a film that went on to become one of Ajay Devgn's biggest hits. In an interview with Filmfare, he revealed that the sequels of the film will offer more screen time for both of the actors.

Raj Kumar is a famous scriptwriter and film maker. He has tried his hand at theatre and cinema and after swarda (2004) he has made his debut in Bollywood with Deewangee. This is his second film after the blockbuster swarda and he has brought the team from swarda like arshad kapoor, anisha mohan, rajesh shaw and others. I have not seen the film yet but I hear it has entertainment value and we must see it. This is a film to watch out for.
