I have a set with four elements. Set1 is a subset of set2.

set2 = set([2,5])

Is it possible to find the number of elements in set1 that are contained in set2?

The only way I could think of doing this is to do the following:

set1_in_set2 = set([(x,y) for x in set1 for y in set2])

length = len(set1_in_set2)

This would give me the length of my set1_in_set2.

Is there another way of doing this?
