the side chain control is a very powerful tool for mastering that is not widely used by most mastering engineers. this control allows you to play with the tonal balance of your master. you can add more headroom, add more compression, add more gain, or add more high end. the control allows you to find the balance you want. this process can be a bit intimidating, but it really is not as difficult as it may seem. here is an example of what i mean.

in the dynamic perception control, the itp character slider defines the global character of saturation curves that the itp process will produce. the higher the slider, the more the transients in the mix will sound harder. the lower the slider, the more the transients will sound smoother. this great feature allows you to further customize your master with extreme precision. some mastering compressor plugins try to emulate vintage analog units and add color, harmonics, and different filters that change the way your mix sounds. in truth, most top mastering engineers use very little or no compression. when they do use compression, they use only the most transparent compressors that will not alter the tone or balance of the mix.

i also have a few questions:  where can i find a preview of the presets? can i use the presets in the slate digital programs as well? how easy is it to convert presets from the vst rtas version to the vst 3 version? 

after mastering, i'm very happy with the results. i'm not just saying that because i was a finalist on the show. i really dig the sound. it's just cleaner, less muddy, and i'm feeling more confident in my mixing decisions because i know that i won't be blowing any potential sales by not following the rules of the game. 81555fee3f

PHP form processing to another page

This is going to sound odd, but is it possible in PHP that when someone submits a form, it goes to another page (such as a thank you message). 

I can't find anything on it anywhere, and is this possible because it's so easy to do in Javascript?

PHP does not have "else if" functionality - it goes from left to right. You can use if/elseif/else functionality but it needs braces as well.
