in case of single stage absorption based rt without solution heat exchanger, single stage librh2o vapour absorption was simulated. heating coil temperature was increased till the absorber temperature reached the condensation curve. both sectional and global analysis were performed, and experiments were carried out to validate the model. absorption coefficients of librh2o and heat transfer coefficients were obtained, and these data were used to predict absorption properties at varying temperature and pressure for solving transient heat transfer problem. experimentally determined coefficient of performance was compared with that obtained from the model. results from the present simulation study indicate better performance of the proposed system with respect to the performance of an existing technology. the results from this study suggest that working fluids having higher boiling point and lower latent heat can be a better choice for development of ahp-based absorption refrigerators and absorption heat pump system.
